88 Tees has four  locations in Waikiki including the flagship on Kalakaua. The majority of the style-seeking clientele are Japanese visitors, but, notes store manager Trinkey Chan, “we do get the younger, local repeat customer.” They come in for the hipster brands—including Junk Food, Robin’s and Von Zipper—and for trendsetting looks, such as the crystal-skull belt buckles, Adidas sneakers and vintage clothing. Don’t miss the great selection of dresses, too. It’s open every day of the year, from 10 a.m. to 11:30 p.m., and it gets new styles just as often, with daily deliveries.
