Las Vegas Magic Shop

A shimmering mirage in a sea of floral suitcases? Nope. The Las Vegas Magic Shop is real. “We’re not just here for the tourists; we’re here for the local magicians,” says store manager C.J. Diamond (in photo). Diamond has been a professional magician for 35 years and is happy to demonstrate any of the magic tricks sold in the store. Gags—such as shocking staplers, trick lighters, fake bugs in fake ice cubes or floating eyeballs—are popular, but more serious magic items like a $300 “silk-through mirror” are also available.
