Moonbow Tropics

What started as a 500-square-foot space in a cottage in Paia has grown to include two more outlets on Maui and another 2,500-square-foot flagship store in the historic Sheraton Moana Surfrider Hotel. Moonbow Tropics specializes in high-end resort wear such as Tommy Bahama, Reyn Spooner and Tori Richard. But the boutique sells more than pricey aloha shirts. You can find designer lines such as Nic + Zoe, Nat Nast and XCVI on its racks, along with hand-painted Christmas ornaments and custom jewelry created by the owner’s sister, Cyndi Jay.
